It only took 20+ years of collecting, but I finally snagged a copy of Godzilla 2 on NES. This came in a Facebook deal that included the games here, Zelda II, Metroid, Thunder & Lightning, and Temple of Doom. The latter four will be headed to ebay to offset some of (the more than fair) $120 investment.
$22 for this haul is a damned good price from an always helpful local game store, and when I get the urge to play CD-I stuff (which is never), I can use something better than the awful wireless remote.
Out of town stuff to take care of means an out of town hunt for game stores, leading to this $20 grab. Marvel at my ability to balance Game Boy games on a crushed 3DO box on the rounded arm of a chair.
Small NES find at a local game store. $30 for the lot, a bit more than I’d usually spend but aside from Tetris 2, these are unusually hard to find games around here.
A Facebook find. $60 for the lot and while the boxes don’t scream high grade, these fill some uncommon holes in my Lynx set. Plus, these four take me over 5100 total games.
A $30 local game store buy, which includes the first issue of OPM after its name change (from PSX). No demo disc, but that’s okay. The mag is in great shape. The LaRussa Baseball is a wee bit special as it is totally complete, including the team cards. Genesis sports games are the most common thing in collecting, but finding them complete like that? No so easy.
