Flea Infested

When it’s this hot out, indoor flea markets are the only choice. For $8, this isn’t such a bad deal.

Not So HD

$60 dropped into a local game store. Some decent deals – Mario Galaxy is pristine and was only $10 – and I included the UHD Blu-ray since it was only $10 new. That was a chunk of the cost, and better still, an easy resell for $25 or so.

The Day of Birth

Was given (mostly) free reign to mop up in a local game store as a birthday gift, leading to this $75/free game haul. While Strider 2 may be missing the other disc (with an emulated version of the arcade original), it’s been on my most wanted list for a decade now. I’ll take what I can get. Sports fans should note NHL 2002 on GBA, which is an update to the Genesis era NHL titles. Physics are a touch off, but everything from the menus to the sprites are identical to NHL 96/97/98.

(Update: The Strider 2 disc is actually the Strider arcade disc. All copies were misprinted, and the games printed in reverse. I can see why the mistake is easy to make now.)

Checking In

Local game store reopened after being closed for some time. They offered B1G2 free as a thank you, leading to this $20 haul.

GameStopping

It’s a B2G1 weekend at GameStop leading to small $20 haul. Unremarkable, but College Hoops has held its $15-$20 price tag for a while now. Selling it will pay off the lot.

DS’ing

Ha, ha, ha. This garage sale wants $2 for an Intec DS card case…
