The Trouble with Sports Games

Let’s talk sports games, which we won’t often do around here due to their common nature and low value. While still near worthless, those trying to complete sets will find late generation sports games stubborn. They sell few copies as most move on to the next generation of consoles, so finding them –  let alone complete – is a bother. A complete copy of NHL 98 is nothing to PlayStation collectors but for SNES devotees, it’s a toughie. Hence, $2 splurged on this copy. The same goes for NBA Live and Madden  98. They’re worth as much as spare change, but uncommon.
